 Today we had to make a meme with a phrase of choice in Maori for Maori language week. Me and Clare decided to do Āmiki rawa tēnā which means Too Much Information. It was a fun activity and I enjoyed animating the presentation. Here is the link to watch it:

Team Nepal

For the past few weeks, our class has been focusing on the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. We were put into teams and generated a country. My teams countrt is Nepal. We had to find out things about our country and then put in onto a slide show. We also got to make our own flags and on Thursday we are going to do P.E and represent our country in the Nga Taumata Rau Olympic Games. Here is my team and I's slideshow:

Olympic Inquiry

Today we had to do a inquiry activity where we researched and answered questions about the olympics. The thing that was the most fun for me was mapping out the different countries that had hosted the olympics. The hardest part for me was the last activity where we had to find someone who displayed an olympic value. Here is is: 🏃🏊🏇🏈

Digital Dig

 This was where we had to complete a series of activities all to do with shortcuts. I found this really fun. The thing that I liked the most about it was finding all of the different shortcuts then adding them to my slides. The thing that i found the most challenging was also finding all of the different shortcuts. This was quite a fun activity. 💻👾 Here it is:

The Gamefroot Game

 

So here is my code. And........ its ok. Just a warning to anyone who thinks that this code may help them make a game..... it won't. What this code does is make you float into the universe, taking anything near you with you on your great journey to the abyss. So yeah. I think something I should do next time is try and do my charecters code first. This was a OK type of activity. My game is not finished so don't judge me. 🎮🪐😬

Having Integrity

A couple of days ago we had to make a Y chart with what you will see, hear and feel in a good classroom. I did this with Arlo and our main focus value was integrity. Overall I an happy with the outcome. Something I would probably do differently would be to remember to post new things that I have done on the day that I did them.

My Pixel Character

 

This is my Pixel character:

I went into a couple of bumps and it was quite hard to get this to look like what you want to. This was fun and well as challenging and hard. I enjoyed making the face and I can't wait to make my ponytail.  I look very cartoon-ish so I'm quite happy about that. Next time I would probably try to make this faster and put this onto my Gamefroot game.

Buddy Planning (Space)

For this activity we had to plan what we are going to do with our little buddies tomorrow. They are learning about space right now so me and Shirley got some activities for our baddy to do. 🪐🚀👽

My 2D House

 

For this activity we had to choose to either make a 2D picture or a 3D picture using polyline. Then we had to find a buddy so they could spin a wheel to see what picture you had to make. You weren't allowed to use any shapes and overall I am happy with what it turned out to be.

Writing in Groups

 

 This is my Screencastify about the writing activity we did a couple of days ago. We has to choose three face down cards from three different piles and then write about them in our group. My group got lucky because we got three cards that were all related to water. By the way, that voice that you heard making sound effects like "Ohhh" was my friend. That was not planned but it was funny so I kept it in. Also the other voice that you heard near the end was my friend coming up to me and saying "BOO!" because he thought that I was not recording. Overall this was a fun activity and I liked doing it.

SHAZAM!

For this cybersmart activity you got to be in groups of either 1, 2 or three. Clare, Taine and I went together. We had a lot of fun videoing it and I can't wait to do it again. The criteria was that we had to persuade viewers that MAGIC is real.

Fun Run (A Buddy Time Story Told With Scratch.)

For this activity we had to tell a story about buddy time using scratch. It was a fun activity. I did my story about the buddy time fun run. The thing that I found hard was to figure out how to use scratch again because I have not used it in a long time. The only thing that i found really annoying is that once you delete something, even bye accident, it can never come back so some time I had to restart my whole project. But overall, I really love scratch and I can't wait to use it again. 

SHARP Reading Follow Up

This is my SHARP reading follow up. We are all in assigned groups and we have to read a story and then go onto our class site and do the follow up. I found it hard to make a poem and then try to make it rhyme. We have to work through assigned and I am about three quarters of the way there.This is mine so far:

Life Education

We went to life education yesterday and we learnt about a lot of things. One of the things that were taught during the lesson was don't be a kitten or a lion, be a cat. So I made a book about it. I hope you like it.

Two Little Bears...

 This is my online book about smart relationships online. I loved doing this activity and I hope you like it. I especially loved adding the characters and speech bubbles an doing the audio. It is about two little bears that meet each other online and how to have a smart conversation like they did. Ps. You click the book to read it. 🐻🧸💻😁😁😁

My Piskel Animation

This is my Piskel animation. It was actually easier than I expected. I called it Cat With Some TUDE because the animation is about a owner trying to play with their cat but their cat does not want to play. I hope you like it.
